Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Branch Manager to lead our operations at the JFK Airport location in Springfield Gardens, New York, and other locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international freight forwarding and a proven track record of managing teams and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of freight forwarding professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including cargo handling, documentation, customs compliance, and transportation logistics. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to enhance service delivery and drive business growth. Act as a key point of contact for resolving customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
  • Financial Performance: Drive revenue growth and profitability by effectively managing branch budgets, controlling costs, and implementing strategies to increase sales and market share. Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard operations and minimize disruptions. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes that may impact business operations.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing international freight forwarding. Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives and expand market presence. Provide input and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the international freight forwarding industry, with a comprehensive understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, driving operational excellence, and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and industry-specific software systems.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and international shipping practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
