Logistics Associate



Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour

Cutlite Penta America is focused on delivering the best-in class fiber laser systems to the U.S and Canada metal profiling and processing markets. We are headquartered in Alpharetta, GA, but our people are situated across the U.S. to deliver the best customer service and the fastest installation in the industry. Our industry-leading fiber laser (up to 50kW) with beveling capabilities allow our customers to cut and process metals with thickness ranging from 1 mm to 100 mm.

Job Description:
  • Provide impeccable customer experience.
  • Work closely with the service team, sales team, and stakeholders to coordinate the import of fiber laser machinery from Italy into the U.S. and Canada.
  • Timely communication with service team, sales team, and customers regarding the delivery status of each machine order.
  • Maintain a dashboard and schedule depicting the status of each sea freight shipment to share with the service and sales teams.
  • Maintain metrics to analyze the performance of each shipment from order to installation and recommend tools or processes to improve performance.
  • Evaluate the performance of each freight vendor periodically based on our peace of mind core value, and replace underperforming vendors based on careful research and due diligence.
  • Save each sea freight quote and summarize each shipment by freight forwarders.
  • Manage procurement of dust collectors and chillers.
  • Assist parts team with inventory, quotes, and shipments, as needed.
  • Administer the company's customer service ticketing management software.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements:
  • Previous logistic experience in importing out-of-gauge (OOG) shipments from Italy into the U.S. and Canada.
  • Strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and tracking of each shipment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and high level of organizational skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving logistics challenges efficiently and effectively.
