Project Engineer, your next position?
Reporting to the Site Project Engineer, you'll provide project engineering to support site development, expansion, and process improvement/implementation activities in the Liquid, Spray Dry, Blending, Distillation, Extraction and Savory processing areas as well as office and laboratory areas at the Carthage site. You'll provide leadership of multidisciplined project teams on small and medium projects, consisting of both internal and external resources. You'll work with senior engineers to provide project engineering support on complex projects and develop engineering solutions to improve manufacturing efficiencies and reduce cost.
This is an on-site position based in our Carthage site, at our Cincinnati, OH location. This is a first-shift position.

In this exciting position, you'll...
  • Develop capital projects with typical values ranging up to $1.0 Million from concept through implementation; specific focus is on overall project management and coordination.
  • Be responsible for scope development, cost estimates, project justification, design, and construction phases of assigned projects.
  • Deliver high quality installations within budget and time constraints.
  • Coordinate with production departments to implement process improvements which result in cost savings and product quality improvements.
  • Work with a senior engineer on larger projects to provide scope development, estimates, and implementation of process improvements which result in significant cost savings and/or product quality improvements.
  • Managee outside contractors, engineering services, and consultants to complete assignments.
  • Develop scope and expectations for each outside service or contractor and monitors progress and quality of work.
  • Develop specifications and drawings necessary to complete project installations.
  • Obtain bids for process equipment and construction services, and complete purchases of such equipment and services.
  • Coordinate project startup and final reviews with EH&S, production, quality management and engineering management.
  • Collaborate with production management to develop operating procedures and conduct operator training.
  • Conduct regular reviews with interested parties regarding design and installation progress.
  • Validatee performance and operation of new installations.
You?
  • B.S or higher in Engineering or related technical field;
  • 1+ years of experience in Capital Project Management required;
  • Food Manufacturing or related industries experience preferred.
