Currently we are seeking a Country Head of Sales to be based out of Houston, TX. This position offers an exceptional opportunity.


Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
  • Lead and set direction for the sales team according to budget – both on delivering volume and growing revenue as well as optimizing gross profits
  • Coach and drive sales team to sell and grow product portfolio activities including supply chain solutions, 4PL, transportation offerings and local products
  • Define and set targets for sales incentives together with Country MD and Regional Sales Manager
  • Actively monitor local customer satisfaction scores (e.g. NPS) across customer segments and drive improvement to increase scoring
  • Lead change from the front according to overall company strategy
  • Ensure best practice sharing across teams
  • Manage cross-functional relationships and actively provide input to product teams on product value proposition needs of customers
  • Provide business planning input to region
  • Build, develop and grow an effective and engaged best-in-class sales team
  • Span of Control between 3 and 8 people
  • Ensure succession plans are in place for key roles, including own role
  • Coach direct reports for success and development
  • Manage local engagement
  • Assist in development and reporting of competitive market analysis.
  • Record data and create reports in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and promote the use of the tool within the sales team.
  • Analyze system data sets to drive initiative, reinforce KPI's and assist in developing growth strategies for our respective products.

Job Requirements:
  • Sales experience in the Freight Forwarding industry with a proven track record. Knowledge of airfreight products is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years Sales experience and 5-7 years overall international logistics industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in managing and directing a sales team
  • Proven track record in solution selling environment
  • Must exemplify professionalism and leadership qualities with strong organizational & time management skills.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make formal presentations on a professional level to key executives and groups of industry experts.
  • Must possess strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce CRM.
  • Must have an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and/or minimum ten (10) years' experience in Freight Forwarding Sales, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a dependable automobile and acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • International Travel may be required
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
